Alcassoft completes job for Yahoo! Singapore

Alcassoft has successfully concluded running on-the-ground network tests in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for Yahoo! Singapore. These tests were performed at an office and a home environment over a number of days to pre-specified Yahoo! servers at various locations, and involved running ping, tracert tests and collecting MTR results.

These tests were part of a wider multi-country study by Yahoo! Singapore.

A1TM launches new-look Fanzone

A1 Team Malaysia’s Fanzone has been given a facelift recently, with the introduction of a new black and yellow look that reflects the colour of the A1Team.Mal car and team.
Alcassoft was commissioned for this exercise, which involved overall design, as well as the implementation of the design into SOPHIA cms, which is the content management system built by Alcassoft that currently powers the A1 Team Malaysia site, including its Fanzone pages.

Alcassoft Successfully Deploys Community Portal System

Alcassoft has successfully deployed the beta version of a community portal, geared towards parents and educators for US-based Parents Orbit LLC.

This feature-packed portal goes beyond the usual forums and blogs – it allows parents and their children’s educators to stay constantly in touch with their ‘networks’ via sms, online messaging and also an internal chat engine. Networks are groups, either virtual (i.e. existing in cyberspace) or physical, usually formed by an educator, i.e. a school-teacher, a karate class teacher, girl-scout groups, or anyone who educates children and needs to communicate with the parents. Alcassoft Joins A1 TEAM.MAL in end-of-season celebrations

A1 Team Malaysia celebrated its successful 2006/2007 season with an end-of-season party, and Alcassoft was there to join in.

e-Kencana Sdn Bhd engages Alcassoft as rollout consultants

e-Kencana Sdn Bhd, the operators of MEPS Cash in Malaysia, has appointed Alcassoft to perform the final testing and rollout of their latest service offering, MEPS CASH Remittance (MCR).

The MCR system had been separately developed by a third party. Alcassoft’s role is to perform the final testing of the system, and to oversee its final rollout.

e-Kencana approached Alcassoft to consult in this critical phase of deployment, to ensure the smooth deployment of the MEPS CASH Remittance system.

Alcassoft Successfully Deploys CyberSync

Alcassoft has successfully developed and deployed the Cybercafe Synchronisation Engine (“CyberSync”) for TechPC Solution Sdn Bhd. CyberSync is a rich desktop application targeted at cybercafe operators wanting to better manage software installations of games and programs on workstations in cybercafes. It provides a scalable and robust engine to handle hundreds of workstations that are managed through a central server console.
