SKY Container Yard Management System

Container YardThe SKY Container Yard System was designed to meet the challenges posed by the different requirements of Multimodal Sdn Bhd’s (MMF) container yards at Butterworth, Port Klang and Pasir Gudang, as well as its container terminal at Padang Besar, Malaysia. It is a comprehensive Windows-based application which has boosted the operational efficiency of MMF’s container terminal and yard management.

Features include:

  • Container Cargo Management This includes cargo turn-in and discharge information, container maintenance scheduling and tracking, as well as calculation of charges and rates applicable (including tariffs and discounts).
  • User Management This feature allows for the creation of users and their associated user access levels
  • Dynamic Report Generation This runs on Alcassoft’s engine which enables users to generate custom reports ad hoc
  • Invoice Invoice-generation is supported by the system
  • Audit Logs & Tracking Any system action deemed essential for audit purposes, for e.g. container turn-in and discharge or a service action, will be recorded and made available when requested.  Additionally, any document printed off the system will be stored with information of who printed what, where and when, for purposes of control and tracking.
  • Optional Web Extension This is an extension of the desktop system. It enables shipping agents to access their reports online.
