Mediacentar Sarajevo

Alcassoft Sdn Bhd had been approached by Mediacentar Sarajevo (MCS) to build a Web-based Digital Archiving System (iDoc).

Mediacentar Sarajevo was founded in 1995 in Sarajevo by the Open Society Fund of BiH. Since the year 2000, however, it has been an independent education and research institution. Mediacentar Sarajevo was originally conceived as an education centre to support the development of independent, professional journalism in BiH; over time their activities have expanded to include PR training, publishing, media research, the organization of cultural events, and consultancy services. A library of works on the mass media and a print media archive (developed by Alcassoft) are an integral part of the Centre.

MCS also uses Alcassoft’s SOPHIA cms to manage their four websites.
