Alcassoft Builds a virtual meeting platform for GKP
VAMM ‘08, the Global Knowledge Partnership’s Virtual Annual Meeting was held from June 3 to 16 June 2008 on a virtual platform custom-built by Alcassoft. The platform was also supported by SOPHIA cms, Alcassoft’s own content management system.
The GKP’s VAMM ‘08 consisted of interactive forums where its members from around the globe could come together to discuss issues relating to the organisation. Each forum had interactive features, including custom-built forums that supported administrative users, moderators, and contributors, each with different user access rights to the system. The platform also included a chat engine that supported group chats, a file upload feature that allowed moderators to post videos and contributors to upload documents and images.
